Our client is a well-established private school in Abu Dhabi that is growing into a full K–12 school. They offer an American curriculum program within the framework of traditional Islamic values, and the school is committed to giving every student the opportunity to achieve educational success.
They follow the U.S. Common Core Curriculum for English and Math, the Next Generation Science Standards, and the Virginia Curriculum for all other subjects. This is complemented by lessons in Arabic, Islamic Studies (for Muslim students) and UAE Social Studies to meet local education requirements.
The school offers a well-rounded range of facilities, including libraries, computer suites, a gymnasium, art rooms, science laboratories, media rooms, a sports field, and audio and video recording studios.
Our client is looking for teachers who want a challenge and want to develop as educators. They need teachers with strong classroom management skills and the determination to support students who need extra help. Faculty housing is provided about 20 minutes from the school, with free optional transportation.

About the Contract
- Contract: 3 years, renewable
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Salary: 12,000–14,000 AED per month, based on experience and credentials
- Airfare: annual airfare provided for the teacher (not dependents)
- Housing: furnished studio apartment provided, or a 50,000 AED annual housing allowance
- Leave: minimum 8 weeks of paid annual leave, plus all national holidays
- End-of-service bonus: approximately one month’s salary per year worked
- Visa: work visa provided, with UAE fees covered for the employee
- Health insurance: provided. Coverage takes over a month to activate, so travel insurance is strongly recommended.
- Tuition benefit: free for the first child, 50% discount for the second child
About You
- Native English speaker preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, or a Bachelor of Education specializing in Physics
- A formal teaching qualification, such as a PGCE (Secondary), PGDE, B.Ed, or a valid state or national teaching license (e.g., US teaching license, UK QTS or MoE teacher license)
- Minimum 3 years of full-time middle or high school teaching experience in accredited schools (reference letter required)
- Experience teaching an American curriculum required
- International teaching experience strongly preferred
- Must be under 60 years old due to visa requirements
