About this role

Piano & Keyboard Instructor
Doha, Qatar · Full-time · 1 position

An established performing arts academy in Doha is hiring a full-time piano and keyboard instructor. The academy teaches music, dance, and visual arts to a large, international student body, and its music faculty covers piano, keyboard, guitar, and vocals. You’d work from dedicated teaching studios at a purpose-built centre in the city.

What you’ll do

  • Teach classical piano and electronic keyboard from first lessons through advanced grades, working to a graded UK examination syllabus
  • Teach children, including young beginners, as well as adult learners — in one-to-one and small-group settings
  • Prepare students for international graded examinations, recitals, and competitions
  • Develop technical control alongside musicality, creativity, and expressive playing

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music from a recognised university, specialising in piano performance or piano pedagogy
  • At least 3 years’ teaching experience
  • Practical experience teaching electronic keyboard, supported by relevant training or qualifications
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Self-motivated and personable, and comfortable working across cultures
  • Experience with other instruments or music disciplines (an advantage)

Candidates with less than three years’ experience — including recent conservatoire and music-university graduates — may be considered for a junior teaching post. Mention this when you apply.

What we offer

  • Tax-free salary, set according to experience and qualifications
  • Furnished accommodation
  • Transport provided
  • Annual return flight
  • Full visa sponsorship and relocation support
  • Structured progression into senior and leadership positions over time
  • A multicultural student body and staff room
