About the Role
We’re hiring a full-time STEM teacher for a private Chinese school. You’ll teach students aged 11–16 through hands-on, learner-centered lessons that build curiosity and problem-solving skills. The position starts as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver STEM lessons based on the provided textbook
- Design hands-on projects and activities that engage students
- Prepare lesson plans at school, correct homework and mentor students
- Attend school teaching seminars
- Submit monthly work records and lesson revisions on time
- Take part in school festivals and celebration events
Requirements
- Native English speaker
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a STEM subject
- TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certificate, or at least 2 years of teaching experience
- Patient, responsible, enthusiastic and culturally aware
Salary and Benefits
- 16,000–22,000 CNY per month, based on qualifications

Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, 40 hours per week including office hours.
