Ascend International School

Kasegaon Education Society is a leading educational organization. Established in Maharashtra in 1945 by Shri Rajarambapu Patil. The Society was founded by a dedicated group of individuals who were deeply concerned about the lack of educational opportunities for the youth of Maharashtra. Determined to improve the low literacy rate in the state, the Society has established a series of schools, colleges and vocational training institutes over the last 60 years. These educational institutes are comprised of Primary, Middle, Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools, Arts & Commerce Colleges, Institutes of Technology, Institutes of Business Administration, Vocational Training, Dairy Management, Nursing, Pharmacy and Industrial Training. Currently, Kasegaon Society runs 46 institutes, employs over 1100 people and provides education to more than 26,000 students. Kasegaon Education Society’s Rajarambapu Institute of Technology is one of the leading Engineering Institutes in Maharashtra. It is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra as an “A” grade Institute and is accredited by the All Council for India Technical Education (AICTE) and National Board of Accreditation. All Arts, Commerce & Science Colleges of The Society have also been accredited by University Grants Commission and the National Accreditation and Assessment Council. A willingness to learn from others is at the heart of all Ascend faculty. We are a highly collaborative community made up of individuals who respect each other and exhibit a willingness to explore the process of building, implementing, evaluating, and revising programs. Coaching and mentoring are attributes of Ascend teachers and both are infused inside and outside the classroom. Ascend teachers are encouraged to foster a reflective environment and share teaching methods, materials, and assessment techniques with a whole-child perspective. In their quest to continue to provide quality education to their community, the Society has established Ascend International School in the Bandra Kurla Complex of Mumbai.
