TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Teach English to secondary school students in grades 7 to 11 (ages 13-17)

  • Run extra-curricular activities

  • Plan and prepare the necessary resources for each lesson

  • Mark and provide appropriate feedback on students' oral and written work

  • Track students' progress at the end of each term

  • Cooperate with the assistant teacher (local English language teacher)

  • Conduct workshops for local English language teachers

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's in English or Education preferred

  • No teaching experience required; some teaching experience preferred

  • TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or DELTA teaching certificate required

  • Native English speaker from the US, Canada, Ireland, UK, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand

  • Age limit of 54 for women and 59 for men

  • Experience living or teaching abroad is highly desirable

  • Salary of $1,500 - $3,500 USD per month, depending on qualifications, experience and interview
